Link Instagram to a Facebook Page

Personal profiles cannot connect to Meta’s publishing APIs. In the Instagram app: Settings → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account → choose Business or Creator.

Create a free Page at facebook.com/pages/create if you don’t have one. You need Full control (Admin) — Editor/Moderator is not enough to authorize Rowe.

Log into Facebook as the same person who admins that Page before you start OAuth in Rowe.

Pick one method:

• Instagram app: Edit profile → Page → Connect or create a Facebook Page.
• Facebook Page: Settings → Linked accounts → Instagram → Connect.
• Meta Business Suite: business.facebook.com → Settings → Instagram accounts → Add.

If an old Instagram is still linked to the Page, remove it first, then link the correct Professional account.

Open Channels, complete the checklist, then Connect with Facebook (standard path). Approve Page and Instagram permissions when Meta asks.
